NEC VersaPro UltraLight VC Notebook

NEC Japan will release its new VersaPro UltraLight VC notebook in January 2009. The notebook features a 12.1 inch LCD display at WXGA resolution with either Intel Celeron 723 or Core 2 Duo SU9300 processor. Other features include 1GB RAM, 80GB hard drive, Intel GS45 Express chipset, Wi-Fi connectivity, Fingerprint sensor, Felica port and SD memory card slot. You can also choose Microsoft Windows XP Professional or Windows Vista Business OS. However, I am not sure the Celeron processor will be able to handle Windows Vista OS. The NEC VersaPro UltraLight VC Notebook is priced at €1,200 upwards, depending on the configuration.

Clevo’s 18.4-inch M98xNU Gaming Laptop

The M98xNU Gaming Laptop is a high performance laptop from Clevo, Taiwan. It comes with a very good specification like 18.4-inch Full HD (1920×1080) display, mobile Intel quad-core processor support, Nvidia MCP79 chipset, DDR3-1333 RAM support, Nvidia Hybrid Power/Hybrid SLI/Hybrid Performance video card modes, Integrated Nvidia video card for power saving, and dual Nvidia 9800M-GTX video cards for maximum performance. MSI VR220 12 inch Ultra Portable Notebook PC

MSI offers the new 12 inch ultra portable notebook. Known as the MSI VR220, the laptop weights at just 1.8kg and adopts MSI’s exclusive ECO Engine power saving function to extend the battery running time. The MSI VR220 provides Intel Dual-Core / Celeron Processor with up to 4GB DDR2 RAM, 12.1 inch 1280 x 800 WXGA Display, GMA X4500MHD Graphics, 1.3MP webcam, 802.11 b/g/n Wireless, Bluetooth, max 320GB HDD, DVD Burner, and Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium. There is no info on pricing so far.

MSI VR603 15.4-inch Notebook

The VR603 is the latest 15 inch notebook from MSI that features standard specification. The laptop offers Intel Dual-Core / Celeron Processor, up to 4GB DDR2 RAM, a 15.4 inch 1280 x 800 WXGA display, GMA X4500MHD Graphics, and 1.3MP webcam. Other features include 802.11 b/g/n Wireless, Bluetooth, supports max. of 320GB HDD, DVD Burner and Windows Vista Home Premium. No word on pricing at this time
