Windows 8

Windows 8 is the latest version of Microsoft Windows, an operating system from Microsoft, for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, tablets, media center PCs.

System Requirements

1 GHz or faster processor
1 GB RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit),
16 GB of available disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit),
video card with support for DirectX 9 and WDDM 1.0 or higher driver.

Samsung Galaxy S3

When launched in the market recently, it was assumed that Samsung had made a backward move regarding its handset design which bears a very close resemblance to the Samsung Galaxy S. On the contrary, this was a strategy by Samsung to gain an advantage with its noticeably curved glossy look (from the back) and organic design to withstand severity. A design job well done on the nicely rounded corners and conveniently placed power button, and despite the Samsung Galaxy S3 being large (136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6 mm) in dimensions, comfortably fits in hand.

SPECIFICATIONS

Screen A bright 4.8 inches screen with a brilliant HD ready resolution, the screen has been well designed to pack huge amount of details for movie viewing, video making and web browsing. It is one of the sleekest super-AMOLED phones in which the colors leap vividly with ultrafast response on the display screen.      Processor plus performance When it comes to graphic performance, nothing beats the hardware performance with software compatibility than the Android OS, v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with the Xenos 4212 Quad processor performing on Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU making it the fastest and strongest multitasking. To add more it has Mali-400MP GPU.

Interface

Built with the clone of SIRI, the S-Voice interface can interact, provide suggestions and perform tasks. This smart voice-activated assistance can be called upon to check phone numbers, set an alarm, make a call and other basic activities. S-voice is indeed a smart move by the Samsung to clash with other competitors.
Camera
Drafted with an 8MP camera with 3264x2448 pixels, auto-focus, and LED flash. It reflects a commendable job done in delivering detailed, well-exposed, and colorful images, while the apps are easy to use. Furthermore it has features like quick snap where a continuous frame of 8 snaps could be taken at a stretch.

OTHER FEATURES

Other notable features to be mentioned can be its 2G, 3G, 4G (regional) network capability; Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection with Touch Wiz UI v4.0; 16/32/64 GB internal memory with 1GB RAM and 64 GB micro SD; camera features with geo-tagging, touch focus, voice activated commands, face and smile detection and image stabilization; the sensors (accelerometer, gyro, RGB, proximity, compass, barometer) are top-notch. Features like Smart Stay eye tracking, Dropbox (50 GB storage), social media, YouTube, and much more can be obtained from Samsung’s official website. Not lacking all the wow features like the classy looks, stunning display and practically mind-blowing performance, Samsung Galaxy S3 has been worth the wait.

The Top 6 Calorie-Burning Workouts.

While there is no secret formula for losing weight (It all comes down to simple math: You must burn more calories than you consume), there are smarter, faster ways to achieve your goals. The following six workouts are proven to be the most heart-pumping, sweat-producing, and consequently most efficient calorie-burning and weight-loss-inducing exercises out there. Do one, or a combination of many, regularly, and watch the weight fall off.

1. Kickboxing: 800 calories per hour
Kickboxing offers a great full-body workout because it requires you to use every major muscle group and includes interval training. Your heart rate will soar and stabilize several times throughout the class, which is optimal for weight loss. 24 Hour Fitness clubs report that attendees of their Turbo Kick classes can burn up to 800 calories in one hour-long class.

How to Want to Workout More

2. Biking: 700 calories per hour
You can burn up to 700 calories at your average cycling class or take to the road on your own to enjoy fresh air to boot! Just make sure you keep a pace of about 14 to 16 miles per hour to reach the 700-calorie goal.

Gadgets That Help You Lose Weight

3. Zumba: 500 or more calories per hour
Who knew an hour of dancing could produce such results?! Because this Latin-inspired dance workout uses the principles of interval training and resistance exercise, the workout will boost your metabolism considerably, according to FitnessZumba.com. However, like any fitness regimen, the number of calories burned varies from person to person depending on weight, sex, current fitness level, and how a hard a person works out. Still the massive weight loss and toning benefits of hip-swishing and shimmying make this dance workout one of the most popular today.
4. Jumping Rope: 780 calories per hour
Only got ten minutes? You can still squeeze in cardio with this highly effective activity, which can have you burning 130 calories every ten minutes (or 780 calories per hour). According to MedicineNet.com, you’d have to run an eight-minute mile to burn as many calories as jumping rope for the same amount of time, making it a good choice for someone who is starting a fitness regime and may not have the endurance to maintain a fast running speed for an extended period of time. If you have limited space and time, jumping rope is the most efficient way to see results. In addition, the high-impact nature of this workout means you’ll add bone mass, increasing your bone health, according to 24 Hour Fitness Club's Website and BoneHealth.com, while you lose fat.

Fitness Plans That Really Work

5. Aerobic Step Classes: 600 calories per hour
Aerobic step classes are high-intensity and high-impact, meaning you’ll burn fat and calories. The number of calories burned depends on how high the step is, but using just a six-inch platform can allow you to burn up to 600 calories in one hour-long class.

6. Running: 650 calories per hour
According to WebMD's calorie calculator, a 145-pound person who maintains a 10-minute mile for one hour can burn up to 650 calories. However, running consistently for an hour can be challenging if it isn't a part of your current exercise regimen. You can work up to this goal and increase your cardiovascular fitness by adding walking intervals throughout your workout. For instance, run for three minutes and then walk briskly for one minute. This practice will increase your endurance, lower your heart-rate recovery time, and burn fat.
